Application
AT265/266/267 strain gauge measuring amplifiers are used to capture signals from two strain gauge bridges and provide current values and status information for further processing at automation level. Strain gauge sensors deliver a signal proportional to the applied force which is captured by the measuring amplifiers and provided as an analogue signal (adjustable 0.4…20 mA or 0 – 10v). At the same time adjustable signal limits are monitored and if they exceed or fall below the set limit, this is notified as an alarm via potential-free relay contacts. In addition, the measuring amplifiers have comprehensive monitoring functions for cable breaks, short circuit, hardware errors, power supply etc. which enable the highest level of operational safety.
The AT265/266/267 strain gauge measuring amplifier range is suitable for performance level C in safety-related applications.

Display and operation
The modules have a three digit 7 segment display to show measurement values, adjustable parameters and status displays. Important status information is also displayed by 6 differently coloured LEDs on the front of the module. The modules are operated by a plastic film keyboard with 4 keys.
Output signals
Analogue voltage or power outputs are available in each case to output measurement values from the two strain gauge sensors. An alarm or a warning occurring is indicated by two separate potential-free contacts and also two 24v digital outputs. All connections are fed through to coded plugs on the front.

AT265 – with redundant measurement value recording
The AT265 monitors two pressure sensors that must be fitted in practically identical positions for redundant monitoring of pressure values occurring in the machine.
An alarm is emitted, amongst other things, when a set maximum differential measurement value between the two measurement value recorders is exceeded.
AT266 – classic dual channel measurement amplifiers
The AT266 has 2 measuring channels for strain gauge sensors that are independent of each other. Each sensor has an analogue output for measurement value output and a relay contact to notify alarms.
AT267 – with cumulative measurement value output
The AT267 monitors two strain gauge sensors and provides the total signal on the analogue output. An alarm is emitted amongst other things if the total of the two measurement values exceeds a limit value or the difference between the two signals deviates too much from each other (unbalanced load).
